ISY3 organises photos, graphic-, audio- and video data, presentations and DTP documents (Adobe InDesign, QuarkXPress and others) with various structures, meta information and previews. ISY3  offers multi-page Office, DTP or PDF documents automatically with scrolling function. Audios and videos can be viewed live as stream and interactive contents like Adobe flash can be fully utilised.

Freely scalable meta information.

ISY3 offers full XMP support for managing meta information flexibly and efficiently. All features are, as required, freely editable, their display is optional and rules can be allocated. Alternatively, the database of ISY3 is also available for the storage of further meta information. Organise your information according to your requirements.

Automatic check-ins.

By means of Filesystem-Adapter-Technology, ISY3 attaches to your existing IT environment, takes up its structures and updates itself. Manual check in processes are completely omitted. ISY3 synchronises itself without thereby creating redundant data stocks.

Standardising administration.

Whichever data format appears, ISY3 inserts it in its database on its own. Full text indexing of all contents, various structuring, navigation and search possibilities as well as the simple upload of new or updated data serve ISY3 as a central media platform.

Central teamwork for working synchronously.

For the joint use of media compilations ISY3 offers "Baskets/Clipboards". All team members can assemble and work on or exchange their data pool directly in the "Basket/Clipboard". When the work is completed, "Baskets/Clipboards" can simply be passed on for release to third parties, too.

Provision tailored to the target group.

A further ISY3 key function is the delivery of data which is exactly geared to the target group. Every user gets what he specifically needs - 100% consistent and 100% CD-compliant. Whether by download or by manual data transmission, single or as media collection. Even demanding conversions, normalisations or proofing processes are possible thanks to the integrated ISY3 rendering engine.

Drag & Drop + Copy & Paste.

ISY3 offers some innovating functions like the Drag & Drop and Copy & Paste use of single files or whole directories from ISY3 to the desktop/finder/explorer and vice versa. By means of Drag & Drop and Copy & Paste functions, the direct usage of a file from ISY3 in Adobe InDesign, QuarkXPress, Adobe Photoshop or Microsoft Word and PowerPoint is also possible.

Direct handling by means of check out/check in.

Files which you edit in the "check out mode", ISY3 visibly blocks for you and so protects you from accidental overwriting. The block is automatically lifted after successful "check in" and update of the data. ISY3 optionally transfers the data fully automated in the background to the desktop, before the respective application automatically opens them locally.

Controlled access rights.

Freely definable rules make sure that with ISY3, only permissible functions, meta information and data are visible and used. Furthermore, application histories protocol in detail who used which contents how and where, and represent this, e.g. for documents, also graphically by means of cross-linking. In addition, the integrated Rights Management administers licences and also protects your files from unauthorized use. All pictures and previews can be provided with a digital watermark.

Version control and variant handling.

ISY3 manages new file versions and represents these clearly arranged in a version history, if required. Furthermore, the variant handling makes the illustration of relations between different files possible. This opens up various options to work on media data together or safely use automatisms.

Image detail designation on demand.

Automated media productions with fixed image details (catalogues, advertisements, internet) assume preliminary image processing. ISY3 offers functions like scaling in an image detail frame with automatic quality control, reflecting and rotating or the definition of detail frames for different applications. Stored open directly in the file as XMP information.

Image detail designation just in time.

In turn, the Corporate Marketing, Product Management or PR department permanently need accurately fitting picture material for direct positioning in documents or presentations. ISY3 supports this as an extended function in the "Basket". There, every user can choose from defined and offered image details, according to his requirements. Without any knowledge of an image editing program. Naturally, the scaling in an image detail frame, automatic quality control as well as rotation and reflection, are also possible here. Optionally, ISY3 also allows that a user individually determines his picture details.
