Adobe InDesign server and QuarkXPress server.

The ISY3 layout and rendering engine is the Adobe InDesign server or QuarkXPress server. This makes it possible to use Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress documents directly as templates with least possible effort, inclusive of all defined document and layout attributes. The solution is characterised by the fact that exactly those functions of Adobe InDesign respectively QuarkXPress can be chosen which are necessary for the respective step.

Individualised printed matters.

ISY3 is able to individualise advertisements, flyers, brochures, posters and typical commercial printed matters like business cards or note paper in the most simple way. For that, ISY3 offers an extremely intuitive and easy-to-operate WYSIWYG function, which is evocative of usual Office applications. The user is conducted through the complete process by a user navigation which is adaptively tailored to the capabilities of the user.

Automatic personalisation.

The integrated personalisation data base makes it possible to personalise template fields. Time- and cost-saving, guaranteed standardised and error-free, because it is coming out of only one data source.

CD-compliant control system.

ISY3 prepares templates just as intuitive and efficient as possible via its WYSIWYG function as individualisation by the user. ISY3 maintains micro typical formattings, styles and typographical displays via the Cl-compliant control system. If required, every user can select from finished text blocks which have previously been generated editorially, and/or prepare texts individually. A special table support makes individualising a table just as simple as editing normal text frames.

Using and exchanging pictures.

During the template preparation, the user can define for every picture frame which pictures shall be integrated via interface from ISY3 Media Asset Management. In the ideal case dynamically assigned and subscribed via a defined search (example: "All pictures in the status X with the indexing Y"). So, recently  integrated pictures which correspond to the search criteria are automatically available in ISY3. It is in addition up to the user to exchange every picture manually, place, scale and rotate it freely. Furthermore, the upload of one´s own pictures for immediate use or after release is optional.

Using and exchanging products.

If ISY3 works parallel as Product Information Management, it is possible to place and to exchange besides pictures also whole products in one template. So not only the picture itself is updated in one step but also all product information like e.g. price, item number, headline and various descriptions.

Adaptive sizes.

ISY3 makes it possible to generate templates which are adaptive concerning size. The template "grows" and "shrinks" depending on non-standard fomat and type area. The respective CI-control system ensures also non-proportional size adaptions.

Drafts and favourites.

In ISY3, drafts make it possible to buffer single processing statuses in order to continue to work on these at a later time. Memorise your most used means of advertising as a favourite.

Live preview.

Besides the omnipresent and scrollable WYSIWYG preview, a binding PDF- preview is available any time. In the preview, ISY3 presents all editable elements of a document in a graphically well-arranged form. Every element can be selected and edited by simply clicking.

Multi-channel communication.

By the combination with ISY3 Media Asset Management complete respectively campaign-oriented multi-channel operations can be realised. So not only Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress documents are provided for individualisation or personalisation but also all audio-, video- and presentation data that are part of the project.

Delivery, coordination and release.

Orders can be optionally subject to release so that they must be explicitly authorized manually before delivery. ISY3 delivers data via Basket function as job-ticket and finished PDF-X3. Alternatively also as open Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress documents.

Variable re-orders.

Every delivery/order in ISY3 can be repeated very simply, modified once again or remain unchanged. It is just as easy to continue current orders at a later time.

Integrated shop interface.

The ISY3 shop interface makes it possible to submit all necessary information and data comfortably after the release if required. Through this ISY3 integrates all functionalities of multi-channel marketing in a central platform.
