Most convenient data search.

ISY3 enables the easy and fast finding or re-archiving of archive dates. This allows for example to select projects, directories or files in a granular way and to re-integrate them into the workflow again. The search and activation function which has matured over years contributes fundamentally to accelerate the processing considerably, depending on size and complexity of a project. Meta information and previews render all archived data accessible as usual.

Better archive management.

Archiving should delay productive work as little as possible. ISY3 therefore accomplishes all typical administrational and organisational tasks virtually automatically. Intuitive operation makes it possible to finish archiving work from every workplace. The making of new archives, managing of tape drives or burning of DVDs does not block valuable working time.

Manual archiving at the push of a button.

ISY3 makes it possible to specifically activate archiving runs, also manual, by choice of arbitrary data. All data can any time be moved permanently into the archives at the push of a button and so are protected against unintentional deletion. At the same time they are readily available for later re-use.

Various automatic archiving options.

ISY3 archiving processes can be automated in most different ways. Archive particular data when a corresponding status is achieved. Or you archive all connected but not positioned images of an authorized version at project completion. Automatisms can be executed on the basis of freely definable rules.

Archiving large amounts of data safe and fast.

ISY3 is ideally suited for archiving tasks allowing immediate access with large amounts of data. For archiving very large amounts of data on tape media ISY3 can be extended by the tape option any time. Complex comparison mechanisms avoid double saving of physically equal data and so considerably reduce the required memory capacity.

Flexible choice of archive-hardware.

The new ISY3 architecture offers the creation of archives on hard disks, tapes or DVD media. Thereby the utilisation of e.g. Storage-Pack-Technologies offers maximum security since the archives can always be available at the same time at two memory locations, e.g. in a remote computer centre. ISY3 supports this special archiving and trial operation.
